These ships will be available for free to characters who complete their introduction missions from Feb 2nd to Feb 6th. Klingon characters can get that mission starting at level 21 (as soon as you get out of the Klingon tutorial, I believe) but also cannot use it until level 50. Not as bad as the new Bortas, which the Klingons are getting in response to the Enterprise's launching. (Until then it will be an inventory item that you'll probably want to bank to use at level 50.)Īccording to the stats posted the Odyssey could be considered to be a science support craft or possibly an engineering tank, though without actually having access to it (yet) I can't say how I'd play it.

Provide a supplementary or even alternative character advancement mechanic - this will be useful for both factions, but in particular should somewhat ease advancement issues in the KDF.Įstablish a new set of parallel achievement goals and rewards in the form of the Commendation part of the system to give more goals for players who have hit cap.
